These beauties arrived in my house the other day...

It was my mothers 50th Birthday and all my siblings and I came together and decided we would buy her, her very first(and most likely only) pair of Christian Louboutin's. To be fair , what woman wouldn't want these sitting in her closet? For year's my mum used to tell us she would love a pair and she never could afford them, bringing up 3 kids on her own, it's pretty tough!
The thin I love most about the pair we got her are just how Classic they are. They are a perfect fit for my mom.

Someday.....I'll have several pair of these in my closet. ;)

Rose.

Outfit of the Day

I know the quality of the image is terrible! For future they will be better! Preppy with a spin of rockability! Wearing a polka dot dress from H&M with a cardigan, belt, headband and socks from PRIMARK.  The shoes are leather brogues from office , my spiked necklace from topshop and my bag is from river island. This is my typical wear for everyday so you'll see a lot more preppy looks most likely!

Kryolan Lipstick Vs. MAC Lipstick

In London I managed to do a big make up haul. I usually find it really difficult to get decent face make up, I always find that I react to any expensive make up. Over there though I went to Charles Fox, just behinf covent garden. It's a shop dedicated to theatre make up. I came across this great brand called Kryolan and ended up buying a bunch of make up which was reasonably priced. I want to concentrate on the lipsticks for the moment and I'll do a review of the other make up in the next few days.
So to begin, I was up until the past few months a MAC virgin (I know shame everywhere) but I have become increasingly interested in make up and decent make up at that. So I picked up two lipsticks "Angel" from MAC and a sheer pink infused with gold from Kryolan. They were both similar in colour so I decided to do a comparison between the quality of both lipsticks.
The Kryolan is the one on top and the MAC is the one beneath. The Kryolan is a lighter peachier colour than the MAC.
The Kryolan and a really nice pigmented colour, it's finish was sheer and it had a very glossy colour due to the golden infusion of colour. It sat really nice, but for someone who suffers with dry lips I did find it dried out my lips quite a bit.
The MAC lipstick was les pigmented even if the colour was more fleshy toned I felt it lacked colour. The finish was much more matte, but it was less dry and even moisturising on the lips. It was very subtle and something I would wear with a dramatic eye look.

Over all I liked the MAC better, mainly because it sat much nicer on my lips in comparison to the Kryolan, I would give the MAC a 8/10 only losing marks on it's pigment and a 7/10 for the Kryolan.

Collection 2000 Hot Looks Nail Varnish Review 7/10

I've been making a point of taking better care of the more detailed aspects of appearance. I always seem to miss out on the little things, like my eyebrows or nails. When I was in London last week I picked up these two beauties. I am a big fan of the pastel trend at the moment, I've always loved these sort of shades. Even as a kid having a fascination with Marie Antoinette and loving the whites matched with the mints, baby blues, canary yellows and pale pinks.
The nail varnishes cost me £1.65 each and for such a low price I couldn't really pass up the chance to get them. So in a flurry, while purchasing some neurofen plus , and with an impatient boyfriend by my side I "Splurged" the few quid on the nail varnishes.
The pink coloured varnish was called Candy Floss and the Blue called Button Moon. I first applied the blue, to my dismay it went on quite watery and ran quite a bit. After awhile I reapplied and after three coats I got a really nice solid colour. There was a really nice sheen and both colours dried very quickly.
I'm giving the varnish a 7 out of ten, mainly due to the amount of coats needed for a decent colour and the wateryness of the varnish. Other than that they were quite nice and I am inlove with the colours.

Rihannah Time 100 Gala Performance

Rihannah did a little more than astound at the Gala. Mainly , she baffled. Don't get me wrong I am good for a red and gold combo any day. But with the tinfoil like texture and big bow I felt the only thing this outfit screamed was CHRISTMAS, in the month of April. Let down.
